How can I put an image or logo in my email signature?
-
You can create a signature directly inside your liveBooks Web Mail account by referencing an image that you have stored inside your editSuite FTP module (or anywhere else online) using simple HTML coding.
Here is an example of the code that you can use for this.
You can copy and paste this code into the signature area of your Web Mail options.

<a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/"> YOUR BUSINESS NAME</a>

<img src="url for your logo or image">

I'm using the Rich Text editor in my livebooks email, and it is not embedding the image, it just shows up at HTML. Please help! Here is my code:

It seems as though you're almost there since you embedded the image into this thread!
The part of the sample coding that Peter listed above that pertains to the embedded logo is the last line.
If you replace the "url for your logo or image" with the URL assigned to the logo inside your FTP module, this should work just fine.
Based upon your info above, it sounds like you are logging directly into your email at http://webmail.nkreps.com/. If you're actually managing email with a POP/IMAP account you can drop a jpeg image into the signature panel inside Apple Mail preferences.
I cannot log into your webmail account without resetting your password, so please let me know if you have any further questions or if you're still unable to get the image embedded. -

Hey Peter,
I'm managing my liveBooks email accounts directly through Gmail. If I create an email signature in my liveBooks Web Mail account, is there any way I can have that same signature attached to my messages when I send or reply to emails through Gmail? -

My last inquiry post goes directly to Will, too!
Totally overlooked that Will is an Official Rep... :) -

Hi Jay,
To my knowledge any embedded webmail signature will only be applied when you're managing your email account(s) directly through the webmail interface. I personally have a simple text signature set up through my webmail account, but my Apple Mail signature overrides it when I use this program to send mail. I'm not certain, but I'm assuming that Gmail's IMAP/POP options work the same way. -

How can I get an image on my signature in email? I don't know HTML code, btw. Is there a way to do this for us non-programmer types?

Katherine, if you've tried the method listed above and are having difficulty, please let me know where you're getting stuck and I'll be happy to advise. I don't know much html either, but in this case it's really just a simple copy & paste! Do keep in mind that this signature via webmail will only be applied to your outgoing messages when you're sending them via the webmail interface itself.
If you have Apple Mail configured to manage your email account(s), you can set up signatures via the Mail > Preferences > Signatures panel -- in this case its a simple drag & drop into the signature box! -

How do I get my email signature to align in the center of the page as opposed to the far left corner ?

EMAIL SIGNATURE ALIGNMENT.-
Cassandra,
I'm not sure I've ever seen an email signature that is center-justified, but that's not to say it can't be done!
If you're using Apple Mail or another mail client to include an email signature in your messages, you'll need to use whatever formatting tools they provide to make your adjustments.
Or, if you're using webmail to embed a signature, you might be able to alter the html coding at the top of this thread to achieve the spacing you're looking for. I'm not able to advise on that directly, but do know that the webmail interface is html-friendly.
Hope this helps! -

I want to add a Facebook button with a link to my page on my email signature. Ditto with Linkedin. How do I do this?

How do I add Social Media Buttons/Badges to my email signature.-
Louis,
In webmail you will be able to paste in the HTML code for the Facebook and Linkedin icons if you check the "Use HTML format" box. You can find some HTML email signature templates if you do a search on the web. You can edit those to include your own links if you don't want to create the signature from scratch.
If you are using an email application then you may need to perform specific steps for adding the custom signature.
For Mac mail you can check this link that offers helpful information:

For Outlook you may find this link helpful:

There is an application taggboxx that allows you to make a graphic for an email signature - then someone clicks on the email signature in your email and they go to a web-page with a bunch of information about you.
Anyway, on the page where you make your signature, they have a bunch of video's about how to add the signature to different pages:
